Business Feasibility Study

Client: Pacific Northwest Salmon Center

Conducted a business feasibility study for the creation of a new center on Hood Canal devoted to educating people about the importance of wild salmon and the preservation of the Hood Canal ecosystem. The report, Pacific Northwest Salmon Center, The Wonder of Wild Salmon: A Real-World Learning Experience, Environmental Learning and Research Center Business Feasibility Study found that the Center is financially feasible. (2006)

Results: The Board has used the report to guide Center planning. In 2006 the PNWSC signed an option for the irreplaceable 90-acre “Johnson Farm” in Belfair for development of the Center for offices and educational program areas. The Board opened the Center in late 2010.
