Client: Seattle Children’s Hospital

Served as grant writer for a Seattle Children’s federal grant proposal to create a community-based care management model called Pediatric Partners in Care, which will improve the health of children covered by Medicaid, while reducing costs. Analyzed requirements, developed schedule and checklists, drafted application narrative, and assisted with forms. (2013)

Results: The proposal was successful, receiving a $5.56 million grant in Round Two of the Health Care Innovation Awards competition. Seattle Children’s is one of 39 award recipients nationwide. See 9/9/14 news article.
