Client: Seattle Children’s Hospital
Wrote two grant proposals for Seattle Children’s to the state Attorney General’s Office. One proposal was to expand the Medical-Legal Partnership to assist low-income persons with schizophrenia, dementia and autism, and the other to provide community-based interventions for children with diabetes. Helped facilitate discussions to shape the proposals with project partners Harborview Medical Center, SeaMar Community Health Centers, and Northwest Justice project. (2012 – 2013)
Results: The Attorney General’s Office accepted both proposals, awarding a total of $1.03 million.
