New Headquarters

Client: Seattle Indian Health Board

Worked with the Health Board, the Seattle Indian Services Commission (a public development authority) and the City of Seattle to identify the means to improve the Health Board’s physical facilities so as to better serve the Native American community. (2009 – 2014)

Results: The Seattle City Council voted unanimously to approve transferring the Seattle Indian Health Board’s clinical facility to the Health Board’s ownership. For the first time since the Health Board was created in 1970, they will own their own facility and can make substantial improvements. Funding for improvements is underway.
