Client: King County, WA
Assisted King County Auditor’s Office in developing best practices to evaluate the Facilities Management Division (FMD) of King County. Conducted four FMD case studies to see how well the FMD and the County conformed to best practices in capital project planning, legislative oversight, and property management. Examined FMD and County Council project documents, and interviewed FMD staff, Council staff and building stakeholders. (2007 – 2008)
Results: Prepared four reports for the Auditor’s use in the audit of FMD. Presented audit results to the King County Council in February 2008.
