King County Accountable Community of Health Planning

Client: Public Health – Seattle & King County

Assisted a team led by Public Health with planning to form the county’s Accountable Community of Health (ACH). The ACH is a way for government and private organizations at the regional level to work together to achieve better health, better care and lower costs, and is called for in the state’s Health Care Innovation Plan. Our work included: conducting key-informant interviews; compiling a crosswalk of related initiatives; analyzing roles, and areas of overlap and alignment; and facilitating discussion by an Advising Partners Group.  Provided a written research summary and report with options and recommendations. (2014)

Results: The County applied to the state for design community funding.
