Strategy to Preserve Farmland and Increase Food Production in King County

Client: City of Seattle

Served as facilitator for the King County Farms and Food Roundtable, a collaborative project of the City of Seattle, King County, and Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority to identify the best approaches for the three agencies to enhance farmland preservation and agricultural production in King County. Helped identify  stakeholders; facilitated the 35-member Roundtable and two subcommittees; researched tools for farmland preservation, and market and distribution options; developed draft and final recommendations. (2013 – 2014)
