Client: Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department

Provided grantwriting services for an application to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to address smoking, nutrition, physical activity and health care access. We developed the schedule and content plan, drafted the project narrative, incorporated review comments and edited other application elements. The project would expand smoke-free environments in multi-unit buildings and college campuses, add strategies for healthy food and activity to city and town Comprehensive Plans, and create clinical-community linkages for health access.
