Assisted a national research team led by FHCRI in developing a proposal to become a national center for the development of AIDS vaccine. Services included writing portions of the proposal and helping the team make a strategic presentation to the National Institutes of Health. (2005)

Results: While the proposal was not accepted, portions were subsequently funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
