Client: Seattle Chinese Garden Society

Provided key leadership, by serving as part-time Executive Director, to energize a stalled project to create a Chinese garden at South Seattle Community College. (2002 – 2005)

Results: Project re-designed and successfully issued Master Use Permits, negotiated lease with South Seattle Community College, and entered into key funding agreements with City of Seattle and the City of Chongqing. As a result of Cedar River Group’s work, the project was revitalized, with an Education Center opened in 2009 and The Knowing the Spring Courtyard in 2010. View link.
