Client: Seattle Art Museum
Staffed a Strategic Planning Committee of Board members and staff leaders to develop a two-year sustainability plan to help the museum face the significant budget challenges of the economic recession. Developed a six-point action plan to make the most of the museum’s assets, and boost attendance, memberships and contributions in the near term, and to work with other arts organizations to secure a public funding mechanism that could help support the museum’s operating budget over the long term. Results: The museum’s Board unanimously approved and staff implemented the Sustainability Plan.
