Client: Community Health Network of Washington
Conducted a survey of the efforts to implement health reform in nine states that were considered to be leading the way nationally (California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon, Vermont and Wisconsin). Analyzed common themes that emerged, compared them with the fundamental principles embodied in the state legislation that created Apple Health for Kids, and wrote “Suggestions for Moving Forward with Health Care Reform in Washington State.” (2012)
Results: The document was circulated for review by stakeholders and key legislators who were active in shaping Washington’s efforts to implement the Affordable Care Act. Many of the suggestions contained in the report are being incorporated in the state’s approach. View link [1].
