Served as grant writer to develop a Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative grant proposal to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Developed a schedule and content plan; drafted and edited the project narrative and abstract; and advised on other proposal elements. The proposal will create the Washington Pediatric Practice Transformation Network, an adaptive learning model to help clinicians transform the way they deliver care, resulting in improved health outcomes and reduced costs. The project will enroll 5,600 clinicians serving approximately 210,000 children. (2014 – 2015)

Results: The proposal was successful – CMS awarded a four-year $16 million grant.
