Client: King County
Facilitated a strategic planning process for the Cedar River Council, a stakeholder group that for 20 years has provided a public forum to promote the health of the Cedar River Basin. Tasks included conducting key-person interviews and a membership survey, facilitating two strategic planning workshops, helping the Council refresh its mission statement and develop a new approach to its governance, and identifying website options. The Council approved the new leadership structure, engaged two King County Council members in serving as honorary co-chairs, formed a recruitment committee to identify new Council members, and updated its three-year work plan. (2015 – 2016)
Results: The Council is meeting under the new leadership structure and pursuing its work plan, and has created a website [1]hosted on King County’s site.
