Retained by the Seattle City Council to assist the work of the Advisory Committee in formulating a potential Parks Levy package for the November 2008 election. Cedar River Group’s responsibilities included: facilitating committee and public outreach meetings; research on multiple city-adopted planning documents; and assisting the committee with Levy themes and project selection criteria. Helped formulate a list of potential Levy projects, and submitted a final report with findings to the Seattle City Council all on a compressed five-month timeline. (2008)
Results: The Advisory Committee submitted a report recommending a Parks and Green Spaces Levy project package for City Council review and approval. The Levy was placed on the November 4, 2008, ballot and passed with 60 percent voter support. View link [1].
