Client: Snohomish County

Served as facilitator for discussions between Snohomish County and Puget Soundkeeper Alliance related to litigation regarding the county’s adoption and use of Low-Impact Development Standards to protect water quality and aquatic habitat. Tasks included reviewing state and local background materials, interviewing each of the parties, preparing meeting agendas and ground rules, conducting facilitated meetings, assisting the parties resolve outstanding issues and identify common solutions, and preparing written summaries. Results: The parties reached agreement on proposed language for three different county codes or regulations.
